It's Been A Long Time!

Hey Benwahs fans!!!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Welcome to the wonderful year of 2012 where good things happen and music rules the world!

We're sorry we havent blogged for ages but facebook kinda kidnapped us for a couple of years!
Anyway we're back and ready to write!

Just a very quick catch up. The Benwahs are now a Brummie based three piece consisting of:

Myself on Vocals and Guitar, Ben on Drums and Si on Bass.

We have just been signed to MAS Records, a non-profit music development programme founded in 2001 by Kevyn Gammond, with Robert Plant (ex-Led Zeppelin) and Karl Hyde (Underworld) as its patrons. http://www.mightyatomsmasher.com/

And we are having lots of fun rehearsing and gigging with the view of writing together as a band, sorting some acoustic sets and gigging and busking to all you beautiful people!

We are also talking about lots of other little challenges we can set ourselves to make our journey more fun, but we'll let you in on that a bit later!

THE BENWAHS ON RHUBARB RADIO!

The Benwahs played a live acoustic set on Brummie radio station Rhubarb Radio yesterday. However due to an unfortunate server problem the set didn't go out!

However, Ben's uncle recorded us & has saved the day by posting the videos on YouTube!

We'll go back into Rhubarb Radio soon to do another set but for now....enjoy!

THE BENWAHS ARE GONNA BE ON RHUBARB RADIO!

THE BENWAHS ARE GONNA BE ON RHUBARB RADIO LIVE ON SATURDAY 24TH OCTOBER!

The Benwahs songs will be played on the show some time this week so have a listen here, RHUBARB RADIO ,and let us know when you hear us!

We'll also be playing a live acoustic set on Saturday 24th October between 10am-12pm on the MIDSWEEP show!

Do not miss it! This will be our first ever acoustic set as a band and nobody knows how Panda Punk sounds acoustic!!!!

An audience is also welcome so if are near the Custard Factory in Birmingham on the 24th pop by and lets have us a mini party!!!!

BRUMMIE POP PUNK BANDS NEEDED FOR THE BENWAHS BASH LAUNCH!

THE BENWAHS BASH @ GOSTA GREEN will run every last Thursday of every month.

Are you a pop punk band local to Brum, free on 29th October and up for dressing in Halloween fancy dress?

If so you could be a part of The Benwahs Bash launch night, bringing free music back to students!

It's a totally free night. Four bands will be playing half hour sets and as it's our launch night we are looking for the best Brummie bands to kick off the party in style!
